Kirk's Bazaar and De Marco's Hotel

Kirk's Bazaar is closed and in the process of demolition in this photo. The site is at the top of Mt Alexander Road, adjacent to the North Essendon roundabout and Woodlands Park. The Kirk's Bazaar site is now (in 2022) a 7Eleven and a Coles Supermarket. The De Marco's Hotel site is now the Essendon Grande / Punt Hill Apartments and the Demazzi Restaurant and various other shops. Parts of the original hotel facade remains.
